Kuryakin | A New Day

Swedish duo named after Ilya Kuryakin has been among the most fascinating acts in the country ever since they covered The Electric Prunes’ “Onie” for a Friendly Noise compilation. Their debut album disappeared in the rush to wrap up the year in December. But the fact is that A New Day, so far only released on Japanese Fastcut, is the best they have ever sounded. Their Shelflife ep is also still available.
