RECORD TURNOVER is an online magazine dedicated to new and obscure music and the community around it. Based in Copenhagen and Malmö – RECORD TURNOVER has been around since ca 2010, taking various guises over the years – eventually settling is its current form around 2018.
We have written, arranged club nights, booked concerts, created podcasts and radio shows in several countries – including Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the UK. Underground culture is threatened from all sides – right now it’s more important than ever to support independent artists.
We are against genre-based and male-dominated hegemony in the media realm. Which is why our reporting includes all kinds of experimental forms and expressions, as well as giving space to FLINTA artists, producers and performers.
Record Turnover is a part of Reset, the EU network of independent cultural and media organisations. Other past and present collaborators include Noods Radio, Inkonst and Triple R.
