Another record that came out on DKA Records recently is the new release from Lower Tar – the musical project of L.A.U.R.A. founder Ori Ofir. Based in LA, Ofir has previously released albums on labels like Ascetic House and collaborated with Silent Servant in Sterile Hand. According to the label Lower Tar is “a project that explores the complex power structures that revolve around identity and what it means to be critical of a society while still maintaining a sense of self”. Abstract Parasite was recorded 2018-20 and is a mini-album of 8 tracks that combines EBM and industrial with electro.
