Derya Yildirim & Grup Şimşek from Germany are about to follow up their 2019 album with a new record called DOST 1. This 6-track mini-album is the first part in a series of two and is coming out on Bongo Joe at the end of the month. It has already been introduced with the single selection “Haydar Haydar” and its accompanying video. While this is a slow and dreamy track, “Deniz Dalgasız Olmaz” moves at a mid-tempo shuffle with a nice interplay between Yildirim’s vocal and bağlama-playing.
