A couple of years ago we featured Austin post-punk group Guiding Light. Now they’re back with a follow-up to that EP. Fear On My Own Time is their first album and it is coming out soon on Los Angeles label Post Present Medium. Guitar player John Morales, who also plays in the more pop-oriented Touch Girl Apple Blossom (featured recently for their new album), gives the LP a great Flying Nun-inspired sound. As with their last release vocalist Elise Cook delivers several of the tracks in German. The mini-LP is out at the end of August and you can hear one of the 8 tracks below.
