The Cat’s Miaow gets company in the reformation corner from dreampop side project Hydroplane. After the Naarm group released new music last year as a culmination of several years of reissues of their 90s output – the time has now come for a new Hydroplane album. A Place In My Memory Is All I Have to Claim is their first release in 24 years, but listening to opener ”Houdini’s Plane”, it’s as if nothing has changed. The 9-track LP is out on Efficient Space in late October.
