Great groups from Philadelphia are few and far between so TVO is a welcome addition both to my library and to the Future Shock label – who put out their first LP All Aboard the Choo Choo Fuck You in July. The five-piece recorded these 9 tracks of trashed-out rock in Kentucky and it sounds like everything on In the Red used to do back in 2010. Perhaps not the most original move, but a nice reprieve from every other retro-sounding group in 2025.
