RECORD TURNOVER 80s HITS #191
I immediately fell in love with The Pandoras upon hearing them. Essentially one of the coolest bands to ever walk the earth, they made 60s garage interesting once again in a way that not even The Chesterfield Kings managed to do in the 80s. Their first release, the I’m Here I’m Gone EP from 1984 is one of my most treasured records. That came out on Moxie and then their first album It’s About Time followed on Voxx in the same year.
That record was reissued for its 30th anniversary and following reunion tour in 2015, without original singer Paula Pierce who sadly passed away at the young age of 31. This pressing has of course been out of print, so the new reissue on Voxx this year was most welcome.
