Romanian producer and DJ Miruna Boruzescu, whom we know as Borusiade, has released a new EP called Purge on a Tripalium 12″ a couple months back. Last time we checked in with Borusiade, they had released a dystopian but impressive album on Dark Entries. With the five new tracks Borusiade explores the more dance-oriented style of of parts of that record, like “To the Self”. It’s still largely industrial electro with lyrics in English, here dealing with “heartbreak in forced isolation, when the only way to stay sane is purging through music”. The b-side becomes more introspective, with “Haunted Evolution” stretching to 10 minutes.
