Prison Skills is a brand new label out of Copenhagen that launched yesterday. Bursting out the gates with this incredible digital compilation, you could say they owe something to previous labels like Bodycount and Examine Archive, who present the same kind of non-compromising hardcore sounds. This one has everything – from Emma Dowdy’s insane rhythms to Gutkein’s discouraging tempos. There’s local flavour from Malik Fields, Maurinstarr, Mögela, Alda Vain and Hyperforce. Shugo Noss from Australia closes out the set with the relentless thump of “Pavillion Dreams”.
