Imposition Man is a Berlin/Vienna trio who released their first album two years ago on Cut Surface. Last month they returned with a new EP called Resilience, which is a co-release between Twintoe Records and Order05 Records. The band includes T-Rex, the master engineer of Allee der Kosmonauten, who has recorded so many great bands. The eight tracks on the 12″ are over quickly, scuttling over simple drum machine beats with nearly obscured vocals. But the sound is amazing, especially on tracks like “Leather Ribbons”.
