Here’s a band that I was very late to the party for. New York punks Exotica released three amazing EPs for La vida es un mus between 2016 and 2018. With about half of the tracks sung in Spanish, Lauren, Anjelica, David and Santi have left behind an incredible legacy that was recently compiled by Argentinian label Ugly Records. The Discography Tape from January includes all 19 tracks, but must be sold out by now with all certainty. I for one, cannot find any info on where to get it. At the same time Exotica also made a great mixtape featuring the amazing Japanese trio Malimpliki (singing in Esperanto), whom they toured with in the US last year. Apart from Exotica themselves, the tape also include New York artists like Haram and Stiff Love.
