Gloria from France are back with another psych-pop pearl. Hey Gyp is the name of their most recent EP out on Ample Play. The title track is of course a cover of the Donovan track also recorded by The Animals and many other notable artists. Most impressive to my ears however, is the instrumental track “The Highlight”, which sounds like it might actually be a lost Fading Yellow classic. There’s also a repeat song here from the mini-album they released earlier this year. Why you may ask, since the new songs are more than enough.
