I’m so pleased I got to see Bad Sports live again this year. They still haven’t made a record that outshines Kings of the Weekend, but Constant Stimulation definitely packs a few punches. “Don’t Deserve to Love” is powerpop at its best and “Ode to Power” almost enters Uncle Tupelo territory. My favourite track so far might be “Comes Close”, but I’m not really sure about the more “grown-up” sound on much of the second side of the album. The album is out on Dirtnap now.
