Reptaliens from Portland are presenting us with their new single on Captured Tracks called “Echo Park”. The park is definitely a hip location for tourists visiting Los Angeles today, but the sound the title tracks rather brings NYC in autumnal colours to mind. “MJ-12” on the flip is a successful foray into 80s funk, if you ask me.
