YL Hooi from Australia hasn’t released anything for a while, 2019 I think. But now, together with Tarquin Manek, Valya Ying-Li Hooi is releasing a new 12”. Running Around (83) is a live favourite, I hear (for those lucky enough to have caught the project live). The handstamped vinyl is expanded by three remixes, one of which is by Mad Professor whom YL Hooi collaborated with recently but apparently lost the recordings. It’s out October 9 on Naarm label Efficient Space.
