SHSHCHTS, or ШЩЦ, is a Ukranian platform originally from Kyiv but based in London since 2021. Run by Bohdan Konakov, they’ve hosted a series of ambient picnics in Berlin’s Tiergarten this summer and one is coming up next week, with a label showcase following in October. But they’ve also been active on NTS and as a label, with their most recent release coming out in May. That one was the fourth in their series of various artist compilations. On 4 you will find loosely experimental but thoughtfully curated music from 15 artists. The digital release knows no musical boundaries, but feels full of hope in its approach – just listen to the beautiful track from Mary Mousetrap for example. Support them with a download and donation.
