Diät – the legendary post-punk group from Berlin with Australian ex-pats in the lineup – defined a sound of a decade, one that spanned continents. While I wasn’t a huge fan at the time, I eventually returned to their original releases after hearing the myriad of off-shoot projects the band spawned. Today there’s a reunion show at SO36 with Schimmel über Berlin. At the same time Iron Lung are releasing a live album recorded in the same venue in 2022. 11 tracks of post-punk history.
