Another legendary Australian group, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, have a new record out since a month back. In Light of Recent Events is a privately pressed LP with 11 new tracks from the pre-Total Control group of Mikey Young. The first pressing is already sold out, but copies should land in distros later in July. There’s also a second pressing on the way. There are a couple of videos on bandcamp, for “Swimming Hole” and “Hard to Be Moved”. If you’re thirsting after a nostalgic 00’s sound, look no further than the original.
