Marlene Ribeiro of UK band Gnod used to make music as Negra Branca. Then, a few years ago she released a collaborative LP with Valentina Magaletti were she used her real name. At the beginning of this year, her first album as Marlene Ribeiro came out on Rocket Recordings who’ve released both Gnod and bands like Goat in the past. Toquei no Sol is a beautiful 6-track LP that takes you places both near and far.
