Valentina Magaletti who plays drums for London group Vanishing Twin has many other musical projects as well. Her latest collaboration is with Marlene Ribeiro who normally plays in GNOD. Together they have created an album called Due matte, that’s set to be released on the small Italian label Commando Vanessa in early June. The album was created during an artist residency in Portugal and is based around percussive compositions that weave in and out of rhythmic patterns. Voices and even harmonies sometimes interject the landscape of “tropical concrete”. Today we premiere the video for “Viaggio inverso”, created by Greta Oto.
