Girlfriend with a full stop is a Dublin group who put out their first album last month but have been making their lofi take on shoegaze for several years. Incredibly, they got some funding from the Arts Council of Ireland and recorded the 14 tracks of To Be Quiet, releasing it themselves. It a lavish release pressed on two 12″s, where some of their post-hardcore influences come to the fore as well.
