Ravexistence is the title of an awe-inspiring compilation that came out before the summer on Rave Or Die, the sister label of Umwelt’s New Flesh. In the shape of a double 12″, it gathers four of France’s most illustrious producer’s still active within techno and electronic music. Umwelt himself of course, but also The Hacker (pictured), Terence Fixmer of Planete Rouge and David Caretta of Space Factory. It’s a bit sad of course not to see any female talent on this collection but when these guys started out it was a very male-dominated scene I guess.
