The Side Eyes returned with a second LP on In the Red back in the summer, but I only just found out. The American label isn’t exactly known for its promotion. But What’s Your Problem? is an unexpectedly brilliant follow-up even if it took 6 years to arrive. While their youth perhaps made them sound irrepressible back then, they show now signs of slowing down on this 20-minute ripper. Let’s see if the California group have another record in them, but if not, this is one hell of a legacy.
