Puerta Negra turned some heads last year thanks to a release on Detriti. Now they’re back with another tape, this time on Andi’s Synthicide imprint. Playa Sola is a 12″ with 4 tracks bursting with angst, protest and holier-than-thou attitude. The producers and vocalists Maria Aguirre and Mark Arciaga have perfected their synth-based retrofuturist sound on this EP and I really hope a few copies make it across to Europe.
