Mutant Strain is one of my favourite punk bands at the moment. If you want to know why, just check out this recent live set from New York, opening up with a CCR riff. They’re currently on tour in Europe and will be stopping off in Sweden very soon.
The group hails from the city of Charlotte, North Carolina and got together before the pandemic. With a selftitled LP out in 2020, they’ve finally returned with new music – once again on the institution that is Sorry State. Murder of Crows, the new 11 track LP, should’ve been out by now but it looks like it might be a bit longer. Check out the previews below and don’t miss them on tour.
