With all the shit that’s going on in the world right now, listening to Kollaps’ third album Until the Day I Die feels like a catharsis. The Melbourne group is one of the bands I’m most looking forward to seeing at Roskilde Festival, where they’re playing on Thursday. They played Scandinavia when they were touring their previous album in 2019, and the new record has been recorded in Switzerland. It came out on UK label Cold Spring a few days ago and consists of 7 tracks of intense industrial noise.
