It’s not long ago that we wrote about Paris-based project Couronne de Merde, but now they’re back with a new album on Opal Tapes. Opal have kept a busy release schedule during 2022 with 12 release so far until this one. Fuck these Memories is one of the most interesting releases on the label out of those. It’s an 8-track cassette that effortlessly blends found sounds with ambient and post-punk. On “Qu’un Frisson (Sur ma Peau)” they even approach synth pop, with a surprisingly melodic composition.
