Cumulonimbus is a Berlin-based collective for fans of hard techno and trance. Their first compilation was released in 2020, which wasn’t exactly a great year for clubbing. In December number two appeared and its 11 tracks are uncompromising and menacing just like the cloud type that their name refers to. Cekta and Vendex bring the madness here and our fave Paralich from Hungary turns in another winner. Kill Your Idols from Newcastle was a new name to me and Cumulonimbus residents DJ Dekadent and Freeboy both sound great.
