Sometimes you just gotta love pretention. Dim Garden’s new album is called A Dauntless Sprite Descends and will be out on Italo Moderni later this week. It’s been about a year since their last cassette and this a slight departure from their noise-ridden past. A Dauntless Sprite Descends actually fits nicely into the Italo aesthetic, while remaining lo-fi and hardware-driven. The Legowelt remix of the opening track is even danceable. 8 original tracks all in all from The Hague-based Dim Garden as well as two remixes.
