Autumns & Smog Index

Los Angeles label L.A.U.R.A. has released a new split-cassette – this time with Irish artist and producer Autumns on one side. The harsh sound of Autumns goes perfectly with that of local producer Smog Index and they both present four very strong tracks here. The latter first appeared on the Psychological Operations compilation from the same label and this seems to be their first proper release. The female vocals on “Hyphen Pleasure” is on par with Atari Teenage Riot. Label head Lower Tar also appears in collaboration with Autumns for one of the tracks on Tasteless.
