The Australian slowcore group HTRK started out more than 15 years ago, releasing their first proper album on Blast First subsidiary Blast First Petite. After the tragic passing of their bass player they went on to record four albums as a duo. I’m so happy that I got a chance to see them live in Melbourne where they are now based again. Rhinestones is out on Fast Fwd (a Heavy Machinery imprint) in a couple of weeks and is a long-awaited follow-up to their 2019 album. It will also include last year’s single “Real Headfuck”.
