It’s been a while since we had an album from Seattle’s La Luz, to be precise three years. In October they’ll be back with their fourth LP, called simply La Luz. The group is now a trio and the singles “Here On Earth” and “In the Country” portray a softer sound, but still influenced by 60s psychedelia. The videos for these and “Watching Cartoons” in particular are great. The 12 track LP is coming out on their longstanding label Hardly Art.
