Black Dahlia is a Sydney-based artist and DJ who seems obsessed with dark electronic music. Last year she appeared on compilations from labels like Up North, Deep Scan and Idlestates – often stealing the show from more established musicians. While she released a digital single in 2019, this year sees her first physical release with the Animasochist tape. The 6-track EP will be released on Berlin label X-IMG in a couple of weeks. The two tracks streaming so far present more of her EBM/new beat inspired sound. It’s gothic and it’s industrial and we love it.
