Groovie Records are back with their fourth instalment of Brazilian Nuggets – Back from the Jungle. This time they’ve gathered 17 tracks of psychedelic rock and fuzzed out garage. Among the inclusions you’ll find Grupo Nozes’ amazing “Moto Viagem” from 1978 as well as Arthur Rezende’s massive “A Sua Fuga Não Vai Adiantar” from 1973. The latter is one of my favourites when DJ-ing. The compilation arrives in May but you can pre-order it now. Make sure you also check out the reissue of Via Libre and Grupo Amigos, even if it’s sold out. The 45 features a track from the Panama and Costa Rica groups on each side, and is the first of the a new reissue series of Central American music called Discodelic, created together with Groovie.
