Haunted is a Russian post-punk outfit dabbling in electronics. They put out their first EP on Perfect Aesthetics back in 2017 and for the label’s first vinyl release they’ve selected a track from Haunted, along with one from Lutea. Lutea is another band on their roster, who released the brilliant EP Rose Armor some years back. With its lo-fi darkwave sound, it would have been all the rage today. Their track on the new split-7″ is “Abstinence” with its mumbled vocals somewhere in the distant, across miles of static. “Flowers On a Mother’s Grave” from Haunted isn’t exactly beaming with joy either.
