Angelo De Augustine just released his third album, on the legendary Asthmatic Kitty label. His second record, Swim Inside the Moon from 2017, was a real grower for me and on his newest effort Tomb, he brings his minimal folk-psych to immediate fruition. It’s easy to make the comparison to Woods or Devendra Banhart, but De Augustine is working with a much more subdued palette. Check out the video for the title track, and pick up a copy – the limited edition is already sold out.
