Gomme is one of France’s best punk bands right now. Based in Paris and with one album to their name (the brilliant Hiss from 2017), they put out the Absent Healing EP in April this year. With tracks sung in English, French and German, you’d think this was the work of a trio. Which they used to be, but currently the band consists only of Betsy Roszkowiak and Hannah Todt. This has allowed them to the experiment a bit more with synthesizers and effects. The results are stunning. Released on cassette by Digital Regress in the States.
