I was over the moon to have booked EVE on her European tour, which started in Spain, where she played Piranha in Madrid. Piranha has become a beacon for hard techno and this new compilation of theirs proves why. It’s a massive collection of 50 tracks called Emergency Synthesis. Naturally, it includes contributions from some of the genre’s main names like Bønek, Main Sniffer Engineer, Distkick, PäNGLØSS, Aldes and so on. But it’s also great to see a number of female producers included, like Labåzuy, Lara Gothel (pictured above), Genetica and Mary-B whom we just wrote about. The latter appears here in a collab with 19.85, who is also based in Chile.
