LOFS is a UK collective of artists based in or around Leeds and a few days ago, June 17 to be precise, they put out the latest EP from London producer Astral Bandit (real name Halden Cooke). I’ve been lucky enough to catch several DJ sets by him recently, as he has played a bit in Berlin and Scandinavia – even appearing at a rave for Midsummer in Malmö last weekend. ASTRLBNDT002 is a natural follow-up to the self-released EP from a year ago. These 4 tracks form a psychedelic trip that moves well beyond trance, to settle in cracks and folds between genres.
