Valerie Ace is back on her own label Hardwon. Fernweh came out May 22, this time just as a digital release but still in the style of a classic 12” for the dancefloor. The title comes from the German word that is the opposite of home sickness a kind of deep longing ”to travel and visit far-off places”, as she says herself. Listening to these four tracks I’m still clueless as to why Valerie Ace isn’t one of the most frequently spoken names in techno circuits. Because as a producer she has perfected her style and the production technique on display is flawless.
