La Ciudad de la Furia is a new EP from Mexican producer Datura Inoxia. This one came out just before Christmas and is a fairly punk take on 80s EBM and industrial sounds. With 5 original tracks plus a remix it’s fine addition to the Spanish label’s catalogue. Discogs lists a duo with the same name, also from Mexico, but active more than 10 years ago – I wonder if there’s any connection? Datura Inoxia is the name of a flower so it’s not impossible it could be completely unrelated.
