Dotti Holmberg

Sundazed have been switching up their reissue game this year, putting out several new and past reissues on vinyl. The Yellow Balloon, Penny Arkade and The Satyrs are some of the noteworthy ones. Most importantly however, Dotti Holmberg’s 2002 compilation of unreleased tracks Sometimes Happy Times is now available as an LP. There are also a few bonus tracks from her brother.

Holmberg was part of Curt Boettcher’s experimental folk group The GoldeBriars together with her sister, and recorded these 18 tracks with him between 1966 and 1969 – after the group had disbanded and Boettcher was working with The Ballroom and The Millennium. The sublime “Sea of Tears” has previously been released as a Ballroom demo.
