Katharsis is a Copenhagen label run by Jjjacob, whom I had the pleasure of hearing play a set in Malmö for a Retreat event earlier this year. On the day before New Years Eve the label are putting a huge new compilation that has been given the name Embracing Darkness, Absorbing Light. On it are 36 tracks from a bunch of obscure names and a few I recognise. E.g. there’s a collaborative track between Astytekk and Cunt Remember that you can stream below. Also on it is Stella Explorer (who I got to see live last summer) and Alto Aria (whom I’ve also seen in 2023).
