The New York group Nation of Language have quickly risen to ‘fame’ since releasing their first album three years ago. Here comes their third LP, called Strange Disciple. Both the title and the album art takes a distinctly different approach from their past minimalism. But the sound of the 10 new tracks is the same, perhaps more Depeche Mode than ever. They’re on an extensive tour currently, hitting the Scandinavia just as the album comes out on PIAS in mid-September. Four singles have appeared so far.
