Berlin club and label Tresor have a new compilation out called Kotti Island Disc – An Auditive Snapshot. It’s a unique project that they describe as a collaborative concept album and the foundation for the art project Kotti Island. This was a multimedia exhibition at Kottbusser Tor that took place back in January. “In collaboration with ten artists, 10 conceptual tracks were produced that are inspired by Kottbusser Tor”, using field recordings as samples. The artistic director Cecilia Tosh also appears on the compilation, along with Kat Davids, Sofie Superflyin Jackson and Zettka.
