Los Angeles darkwave act Aurat are back with a new single. The two tracks on “Jugar” are a departure from previous releases in Urdu, with the a-side being sung in Spanish and the other one in English. It’s a raw sound with a clear streak of EBM this time, especially on “Touch of Flesh” which reminds me of Liaisons Dangereuses. The band continue on the truly independent path they’ve staked out, releasing everything themselves (although Detriti did reissue one of their records on vinyl).
