New Orleans’ own Special Interest have not been heard from since their brilliant second album, released in 2020. Earlier this month they finally released their new 45 called “(Herman’s)” House on Rough Trade. Both sides of the single offer more of their signature punk/synth sound. It’s their first release on the British label and comes with a new video as well. The flip is a cover of Amanda Lear’s “Follow Me” from 1978.
