April Magazine from San Francisco just released their new album Wesley’s Convertible Tape For the South. The title of the self-released tape has me expecting a conceptual album and the 9 tracks do weave together nicely, starts in an ethereal mood before going into some languid drum patterns. Something brings Saint Etienne to mind and the upbeat “Brighter” actually sounds very close to the band of the same name.
