More great new music out of Australia, with the third longplayer from Newcastle’s Troth. Troth is Amelia Besseny and Cooper Bowman (Altered States) and only last year they released a 45 on a Swedish label, called “Blood In My Hair”. Now they have teamed up with Mammas Mysteriska Jukebox, also based in Gothenburg, for Forget the Curse. This 8-track EP is available through Discreet Music and it’s great to witness this coming together of two geographically divided scenes. This is probably my favourite release on the label so far.
